Designed
for beginner to advanced gamers, it cuts out the need to be switching in and
out of the game and makes the whole guide experience much more
interactive. But is the Zygor guide
really worth going for, afterall priced at around $50 its quite an investment,
and there are already many free resources available on the internet; so why are
so many people still raving about it, what is all the fuss about?
When
using the guide you will find that a new window accompanies your gameplay
providing leveling information as you progress and with configurable
options. There are two main
configuration settings for the window; large or small. You can toggle between them, if you choose
the large window you will see all of the "big picture" information
for progressing to the next level, including where to prcoeed in order to
finish the quest that you are presently on, where to direct yourself with
coordinates and who to make contact with.
An extra useful feature of this window is that it allows you to keep a
track on which tasks you have completed and which still remain, a feature which
saves considerable time as it prevents you from mistakenly repeating a task.
The other configuration setting for this window is to set it to have it
appearing smaller as part of the screen whilst you are playing (its transparent)
and although it does not show all of the detailed information, it provides the
information necessary information for your next action to complete the task you
are working on at present.
There
are plenty of options available within the guide that allow you to change views
to meet your own individual preferences.
You can adjust graphic sizes and opacitiy, etc, to make the game guide
or less discreet whilst you are playing, as you choose; a useful feature as
preferences for most gamers will differ.
The
Zygor guide also has a helpful small arrrow which appears on the screen and
points you to the direction you need to go in order to get progress any quest,
designed to speed up progress.
A
significant improvment of the latest Zygor guide over previous verisons is that
all of the waypoints that were previously shown in earlier verisions have been
tidied up, so that you do not feel claustrophobic with all levelling steps
appearing on the screen at once. In
contrast, now you have just the waypoint that is relevant to the quest that you
have selected and are currently working on, which is much simpler. Usefully, if now your cursor is placed over
the waypoint on the map, it will be clear to you what actions are necessary in
order to arrive at your destination.
There
are many different parts WOW that cannot all be attended to in a single guide;
things such as PVP, collating gold and professions tend to be dealt with in
separate guides. These separate guides
are aimed more at player keen to get an expertise in a specific area of the
game.
Overall,
the Zygor WOW leveling guide is a very useful guide of you are looking for
leveling that is quick and easy to use, seamlessly integrating with the
gamepaly. WOW experts know that the real game starts at level 80 as this is
where you can have arena matches and begin high level raids; where all the fun
really begins.
